ABOUT ME

My name is Tessa and I first found my love of photography when I was a teenager. I loved taking pictures that captured the beauty around me and the uniqueness of individuals. I did not get serious about my photography until I became a foster parent and realized how expensive it was going to be to get my daughter’s senior photos done!! I quickly came to realize that there were a lot of people in my community and life that were not able to afford the high industry rates and therefore were not able to document precious moments in their lives. I started Safe Harbor Photography to ensure that everyone is able to get beautiful photos that capture the important aspects of life without there being a financial barrier. One of the ways that I keep my prices down is by not having an indoor studio. This means that all of my photo shoots are done outside across the state of Alaska.
